Lorene E. Fark, 92
Lorene E. Fark, age 92, of Holland, passed away at 6:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at her residence.
She was born July 22, 1919 in Holland, Indiana to George and Sophie (Todrank) Fark. Lorene was a dairy farmer. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Holland and a member of the St. James Women of the Word. She was preceded in death by: two brothers, Kenneth Fark and Amos Fark; and two sisters, LaVern Schmaker and Dorothy Ring.
She is survived by:
Two nieces,
- Lila Schmaker – Vincennes, IN
- Janet Ring – Huntingburg, IN
Two nephews,
- Charles Ring – Vincennes, IN
- Karl Fark – Evansville, IN
and by six great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Lorene E. Fark will be held at 2:00 p.m., E.S.T., on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at St. James Lutheran Church in Holland with burial to follow at St. James Cemetery in Holland. The Rev. David Darling will officiate the services.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Saturday; and also at the church from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Sunday, prior to the funeral. Memorial contributions may be made to: St. James Lutheran Church.
