Local youths bring home free throw championship trophies

Two local girls brought home state championship trophies from the 2016 Knights of Columbus Indiana State Basketball Free Throw Championship.

Reagan Fortwendel of Jasper won the 11-year-old girls divsion while Haley Reckelhoff of St. Anthony won the 14-year-old divsion.

The free throw championship was held Sunday, March 6th at St. Theodore Guerin Catholic High School in Noblesville. To qualify for the state championship contest in Noblesville a participant must win the council, district and regional free throw contests.
