Local elected officials attend special training session

Six members of the Dubois County Council attended the Indiana County Councils Association (ICCA) annual conference meeting held June 21 and 22 in Hamilton County, Indiana. 

The meeting was called by the State Board of Accounts for the purpose of reviewing new legislation and providing professional development. The conference included education on the Open Door Law, Meeting Decorum, Tax Structure, Road Funding, Best Practices, Legislative Advocacy and District Round Table Discussions.
