Little League on the big screen

The Astra opened its doors to the public to televise the final round of the Great Lakes Region Little League championship featuring Jasper Wildcats 12U representing Indiana.

Though Hinsdale took an early lead, Jasper came back in the top of the sixth, scoring five runs. With the score 7 to 6, Hinsdale answered with a run to tie the game in the bottom of the sixth.

The score remained tied through the seventh. Then, in the eighth, teams started with a runner on second base, and Hinsdale advanced the runner on a short line drive to right field, scoring the winning run.
