Linda Sue Uppencamp, 70, Winslow

Linda Sue Uppencamp, 70, of Winslow, passed away at 12:12 p.m., on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

She was born February 16, 1947, in Cynthiana, Indiana to Paul and Audrey (Krohn) Montgomery; and married Paul Daniel Uppencamp on August 10, 1964.  Linda was a homemaker and member of The Gospel Center of Petersburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather, John Uppencamp; her husband, Paul Daniel Uppencamp, who died April 12, 2004; by four brothers, two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

She is survived by seven children, Danny Uppencamp of Petersburg, Patty Froman of Lincoln City, Sheila Mosby of Winslow, David Uppencamp of Jasper, Jerry Uppencamp of Petersburg, Tina Shober of Petersburg and Charmon Jahn of Petersburg; five siblings, Gene Montgomery of Huntingburg, Kathy Hartley of Petersburg, Pam Blanford of Winslow, Ron Montgomery of Otwell and Peggy Layman of Ireland; two half-siblings, Danny Montgomery and Sandy Burrows; by 19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren

Funeral services for Linda Sue Uppencamp will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at The Gospel Center in Petersburg with burial to follow at Cup Creek Cemetery near Velpen. Pastor Rodney Fretwell will officiate at the service.

Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Saturday the day of the service. Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
