Linda Starling, 77, Jasper

Linda L. Starling, 77, of Jasper, formerly of Ottawa, IL, passed away on August 30, 2020, after an extended fight with cancer. 

She was born April 15, 1943 to the late David and Marjorie Bough. She graduated from Odon High School in 1961.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was an avid reader. 

She married Richard Starling on July 28, 1961. He preceded her in death on November 29, 2011.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Cheryl King and brother, Gary Bough.

She is survived by her sister, Lisa Morning of Washington; son, Jeff Starling of Jasper; daughters, Robin Petry of Cypress, Texas, Sherra Blakley of Ottawa, Ill., Jan Mareska of Waterford, Wisc., and Staci Vazquez of Marseilles, Ill.; 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. 

Services for Linda Starling will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 5, 2020, at McAdams Mortuary. Rev. Ryan Stiles will officiate and burial will be in Rock Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, September 4, 2020, at McAdams Mortuary.
