Linda K. McCandless, 77, of Winslow, passed away August 30, 2025, in Jasper.

She was born August 12, 1948, to Cecil J. and Nora (Reed) Lance in Washington, Ind.

Linda graduated from Winslow High School Class of 1966. She worked as an assistant manager for the Pike County License Branch for many years. Reading was one of her favorite hobbies.

Linda is survived by her husband of 58 years, Gary McCandless; sons, Christopher (Kristin) McCandless and Ryan McCandless; and grandchildren, Atlan and Parker McCandless.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

A graveside service for Linda will take place at 2 p.m. EST on Wednesday, September 3, at Williams Cemetery in Arthur. Pastors Ruth Hughes and Kristina Wagler will be officiating the service.

Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
