Linda Jane Russell, 67, Haysville

Linda Jane Russell, 67, of Haysville, passed away at 1:42 p.m. on Monday, May 4, 2020, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper. 

Linda was born in Evansville on June 15, 1952, to Harold and Elizabeth (Titzer) Scheller. She married Thomas Russell on January 13, 1989. He preceded her in death on March 28, 2010. 

Linda was a licensed practical nurse for her entire career. She worked at Northwood Good Samaritan in Jasper for over 29 years where she was very dedicated and compassionate to all of her patients. Linda enjoyed traveling and hunting with her husband, Tom, the love of her life. She loved going to St. Louis Cardinal ballgames with family and friends. She also enjoyed quilting, collecting bears, camping, and her dog Izzy. 

She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Scheller of Poseyville; six sisters, Marilyn (Fred) Hirsch of Wadesville, Ind., Judy (Rick) Tenison of Wadesville, Ind., Nita (Hal) Reyher of Mount Vernon, Susie (Gene) Koester of Newburgh, Lavern (Pat) Fleck of Evansville and Camille (Darrel) Adler of Haubstadt; one brother, Mike Scheller of Haubstadt; two stepdaughters, Lynn (Dave) Petry of Birdseye and Tammy (Joe) Huddleston of Jasper; step grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.    

Preceding her in death besides her husband is her father, Harold Scheller, and grandparents, Arthur and Anita (Steckler) Scheller Sr, and Albert and Millie Woods Titzer. 

Private funeral services will be held at Becher-Kluesner Funeral Homes in Jasper, with burial at Haysville Community Cemetery in Haysville, Indiana.
