Lillian M. Wininger, 93

Lillian M. Wininger, 93, of Dubois, passed away at 9:25 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2015, in St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper.
She was born in Martin County on March 14, 1922 to Edward and Anna (Mann) Harder. She married Ralph Wininger on January 14, 1945, in St. John’s Church at the Dubois Crossroads. He preceded her in death on December 18, 2008.
Lillian worked at the sewing factory in Martin County and later retired from the Indiana Cabinet Company in 1985 in Dubois. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church at the Dubois Crossroads where she taught Sunday school for many years and was a member of the church choir. She enjoying sewing, crocheting and playing guitar.
She is survived by her daughters, Carol Jones and her husband Jacob, Shirley Jones and her husband Charles both of Dubois; son, Jim Wininger and wife Paula of Dubois; Eight grandchildren , Marcie, Shara, Chad, Angie, Deanna, Tess, Chris and Julie and step-grandchild, Jarrod; 17 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Karl Harder of Jasper, Tom Harder and wife Clara Ann of Shoals, and Bill Harder and wife Dot of Mount Juliet, Tenn.
Preceding her in death besides her husband is one sister, Christine Harder; two brothers, Edgar Harder, Howard Harder.
Funeral services for Lillian Wininger will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2015, in St. John’s Lutheran Church at the Dubois Crossroads with burial to follow in St. John’s Cemetery. Rev. Mary Poston will officiate.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at church.
