Lila Lee Seger, 90

Lila Lee Seger, 90, of Jasper, Indiana passed away at 1:10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at home.
Lila was born in Jasper, Indiana on March 12, 1925, to Cyril “Snap” and Lucille (Krodel) Giesler. She married Jerome F. Seger on August 21, 1947 in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper. He preceded her in death on July 16, 2003.
Lila was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church, Tri Kappa, Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority, OLGA Golf Association, Jasper Country Club 18 Hole Golf Association, Jasper Raquet Club, and was a substitute teacher in the Jasper School System.
She held the unofficial record for attending the most sporting events in Jasper as mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She is survived by six sons, Randy Seger and his wife Maribeth of Indianapolis, Brad Seger and his wife Debbie of Jasper, Tom Seger and his wife Cindy of Jasper, Ted Seger and his wife Brenda of Jasper, Roger Seger and his wife Mickey of Jasper, and Scott Seger and his wife Becky of Jasper; 24 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; one sister,
Carol Dolen of Indianapolis; caregivers, Susan Meyer, Vicky Merkel, Kate Buchta, Mary Jo Fischer, Alice Garland, Barb Gudorf, Denna Popp, and Carolyn Schmidt.
Preceding her in death besides her husband are two sons, Larry and Steve Seger and one daughter-in-law, Dianne Seger.
Funeral services for Lila Lee Seger will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Precious Blood Catholic, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2016 at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Precious Blood Catholic Church, Dubois County Community Foundation or to a favorite charity.
