Letter: Where will grandma go?
According to national statistics from the Kaiser Family Foundation for 2016, 1.4 million people were then in nursing homes. Each one of those 1.4 million was incurring yearly costs of around $82,000.
Of those 1.4 million, 62 percent were having the bill paid by Medicaid for a total expenditure of around $55 billion per year. Reports are that Trump and his band of <flying monkeys> federal avengers are now eyeing this honey pot.
It requires no great depth of thought to make three observations: 1) The above cited statistics are 9 years old and the price of everything has inflated 2) Females, that is grandmas, significantly outnumber the males in nearly all long term care facilities and 3) If the Trump administration continues its gleeful deconstruction of everything federal, then lots of grandmas are going to be looking for somewhere to live.
Where will grandmas go?
