Letter: Southeast Referendum won’t create new taxes

I hope you are doing well! I am writing you today on behalf of my amazing teachers & school corporation! Because of SEDubois schools, I’ve been provided with a high-quality education & taught by caring, compassionate staff members. However, this wonderful standard that makes our community so special is at RISK this November.

As you may know, the current Referendum is on the ballot, & I, as a student, urge you to vote ‘yes.’ This referendum provides funding that allows teachers & students alike to thrive!

Contrary to popular belief, this isn’t new legislation, but rather already instilled legislation seeking renewal. That means it won’t directly impact or cause a raise in taxes. We rely on this, & we need you!
