Letter: Meeting to address property owners concerns over Mid-States Corridor

MARK YOUR CALENDARS THIS THURSDAY, December 5th, at Klubhaus61 in Jasper.  Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the presentation will start at 6:00 p.m. EST.

Make plans to attend the Property Owner’s Meeting presented by the Property Rights Alliance THIS THURSDAY, December 5th.

The Property Rights Alliance is a newly-formed group that has been working hard to provide information to property owners who will be affected by the proposed Mid-States Corridor.  Guidance will be available on how to deal with the heavy-handed intimidation tactics employed by the Lochmueller Group in their efforts to survey the affected properties.  The group has secured legal representation to assist landowners, with the ultimate goal of stopping this ill-advised, misguided and unnecessary new-terrain road project.  There will be ample opportunities for questions and answers at this presentation (unlike the public meetings held by Lochmueller and INDOT).

The Property Rights Alliance consists of farmers, homeowners, and business owners in Dubois, Martin and Daviess Counties whose land is being threatened.  The group is endorsed by the existing Coalition Against the Mid-States Corridor who welcomes the new alliance and will work with them in their efforts to stop the Mid-States Corridor.

Please invite fellow concerned citizens.  This proposed road project will impact everyone, not just the affected landowners and their family and friends who love them.

We hope to see you there Thursday night!
