Letter: Illegal voters are not the problem

After all the back-and-forth, I decided to do some checking. 

According to the Dubois County Clerk’s Office, there was one illegal voter on the list. But that person never voted.

The Martin County Clerk’s Office reported no illegal voters on their list.

So, in our community, illegal voting does not even happen. It is not an issue at all.

I totally agree with Bill Adams. It is the “questionably informed” voter that is the greatest threat to our community, our state and our country. 

They do absolutely no research on the candidates. They go in and just vote a straight ticket. That is the real problem.
