Letter: A thank you from Nathan Verkamp
To everyone who supported me in this campaign—whether you volunteered your time, walked in parades, worked polling locations, offered words of encouragement, displayed a yard sign, or simply took the time to vote—thank you. Your support means more than words can express.
A campaign takes time, energy, and commitment, and I know it also requires sacrifices from the people closest to you.
So I want to thank my wife, Jody. Without you standing by my side, your love and support, and my biggest source of strength, this would not have been possible.
To my children, Logan, Rileigh, Gabe and my daughter-in-law, Taylor, thank you for your encouragement, your support, and for being in my corner. Even as adults with careers and busy lives of your own, knowing you are behind me means the world.
Serving as your judge has been one of the greatest honors of my life. I have always believed that the role of a judge carries tremendous responsibility. It is more than interpreting the law; it is about fairness, integrity, impartiality, respect, and ensuring that every person who enters the courtroom is treated with dignity.
To those who voted for me, thank you. And to those who supported another candidate, please know that I will continue to serve every person in this community fairly and without favor. The courtroom has no political sides, and neither does justice.
Thank you again for believing in me, for your support, and for allowing me the privilege of serving as your judge.
Sincerely,
Nathan Verkamp
