Leonard Harris Beck, 73, Estero, Fla.

Leonard H. Beck was born September 22, 1951, and passed away the morning of January 11, 2024,
at 1:53, at Lee Health in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte G. Beck (McDonald), father, Roman W. Beck, and
his great nephew Zane M. Weidenbenner.

He graduated high school in 1969 and went to the National Guard.

Leonard managed many Publix stores in Tampa, Bradenton, Saint Petersburg, and Estero, Florida.

Traveling also became a big part of his life, and he decided to buy a second home in Columbia.

He is survived by his two brothers, Bill Beck (Louise Bolte) of Jasper and Denny Beck (Patty
Mehringer) of Velpen; nieces, Melinda Weidenbenner (Mike), Marice Seger (Bob), Heidi Newland
(Brad), and one nephew Corey Beck (Rita); great-nieces and -nephews, Cody Newland, Ryker Weidenbenner, Holden Weidenbenner (Sara), Reece Newland, Jacob Seger, Emma Beck, Kelci Newland, Gabe Newland, Ashlyn Richards (Porter), and Jocelyn Seger.
