Leona K. Ryan, 61

Leona K. Ryan, age 61, of Haysville, Indiana, passed away at 1:51 p.m. Sunday, (September 1, 2013), in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.

She was born at Washington, Indiana, July 7, 1952 to Alvie and Mary (Westmoreland) Porter. She was a companion of Ron Fleck for the past 26 years.

She was a graduate of North Daviess High School.

Leona was a member of The Jasper Church of the Nazarene.

Surviving, companion, Ron Fleck; father, Alvie Porter, Odon, IN; three brothers, Dave Porter and his wife June, Ireland, IN, Allen Porter and wife Edie and Roger Porter, all of Terre Haute, IN; also several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death is her mother Mary Porter.

Funeral services for Leona Ryan will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 5, 2013 at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel with burial to follow in Odon Cemetery, Odon, Indiana. The Rev. Darrel Wineinger will officiate.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday (September 4, 2013) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.
