Lcpl Alec Terwiske, 21

Funeral services for Lcpl Alec Terwiske, age 21 who died in Afghanistan on Monday (September 3, 2012) will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday (September 14, 2012) in St. Celestine Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Celestine Cemetery.

Alec Terwiske was born July 6, 1991 in Jasper to Alan and Sandy (Eckert) Terwiske.

He was a 2010 graduate of Northeast Dubois High School and enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps that same year.

Surviving besides his parents are;

Two sisters,

Ashlee Gramelspacher, LaGrange, KY

Codi Terwiske, Dubois, IN

One brother, Brant Terwiske, Dubois, IN

Grandmother, Phyllis Eckert, Jasper, IN

Two nieces, Averie and Emerson Gramelspacher.

Visitation for Alec Terwiske will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday (September 13, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Celestine Catholic Church , St. Raphael’s Catholic Church or to the Southern Indiana Leatherneck Marine Corps League.
