Larry Wayne Montgomery, 70, Huntingburg

Larry Wayne Montgomery, 70, of Huntingburg, passed away at 12:13 a.m. CST Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.
He was born April 22, 1945, in Gibson County, Indiana to Paul Montgomery, Sr. and Audrey (Uppencamp) Montgomery.
Larry was a retired furniture factory worker. He was a former member of the Civil Defense and Huntingburg Police Traffic Reserves. He attended Calvary Baptist Church. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed making everyone around him laugh and smile.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Montgomery Sr. and Audrey Montgomery; stepfather, John Uppencamp; two brothers, his twin Gary Montgomery and Thomas Montgomery; and one granddaughter, Olivia Montgomery.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Janna (Brannon) Boger of Winslow; two sons, Nicholas Montgomery of Huntingburg and Jacob Montgomery of Huntingburg; three brothers, Ron Montgomery of Arthur, Richard Montgomery of Huntingburg and Paul Montgomery, Jr. of Huntingburg; four sisters, Linda Sue Uppencamp of Winslow, Kathy Hartley of Petersburg, Peggy Laymon of Jasper and Pamela Blanford of Winslow; two grandchildren, Anika Montgomery and Braddac Boger; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Larry Wayne Montgomery will be held at 2:00 p.m. EST Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Calvary Baptist Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Cup Creek Cemetery near Velpen. Pastor Rick Ballard will officiate at the service.
Friends may call for visitation at the Calvary Baptist Church from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, the day of the funeral.
Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements. All visitation will be held at the church.
