Larry W. Fawks, 60

Larry W. Fawks, age 60, of Jasper, passed away at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at home.

Larry was born on May 12, 1953 in Huntingburg, Indiana to Edward and Carol (Whipking) Fawks. He married Mary Beth Linne in Celestine, Indiana on December 6, 1986. She preceded him in death on December 20, 2007.

Larry worked for Masterbrand Cabinets in Ferdinand, Indiana for 26 years.

He served in the Indiana Army National Guard and was a member of the Wounded Warrior Project.

He was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church in Dubois, Indiana.

He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and collecting marbles.

He is survived by one daughter, Chelsey Fawks, of Tell City; three sons, Jamie Fawks and his wife Priscilla, of Birdseye, Jarrod Fawks and Nicholas Fawks and his wife Tina, both of Dubois; seven grandchildren; Callie Fawks, Racha and Cheyenne Bolden, Brody and Zander Tabor, and Noah and Abra Fawks; four sisters, Julie Powell and her husband Rick, of Huntingburg, Deb Sitzman and her husband Herb, of Huntingburg, Lori Petry, of Dubois, Brenda Thomas and her husband Danny, of Dale; two brothers, Eddie Fawks Jr. and his wife Rennie, of Tell City, and Mike Fawks and his wife Judy, of Dubois.

Preceding him in death besides his wife is one brother, Ernie Fawks.

Funeral services for Larry Fawks will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 14, 2014, at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Dubois, IN, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The American Legion Post #147 will conduct military graveside rites.

Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 13, 2014, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
