Larry P. Mann, 91, Otwell

Larry P. Mann, 91, of Otwell, passed away and entered his heavenly home on August 29, 2026.

He was born on December 29, 1934, in Boone Township to Clarence and Lois (Schnarr) Mann.

Larry was a 1952 graduate of Otwell High School; worked as a parts manager for Patoka Valley Equipment and also was the proud owner of Lakeview Woodcrafts and Lakeview Farms.

Larry was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and a devoted New England Patriots football fan. During football season, you could often find him enjoying a game and cheering on his favorite team. He was a talented and accomplished wood craftsman who took great pride in his workmanship. He also had a true passion for gardening and enjoyed traveling with Sue and spending time with family and friends. Above all, Larry loved his family and making memories with those he loved.  

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Lloyd Mann; grandchildren Sarah and Kai and their mother, Sunny Mann; great-grandson, Noah Burkhart; and brother-in-law, Richard Hoffman.

Larry is survived by the love of his life, wife, Lois “Sue” Mann; daughter, Loralyn Schenk; sons, Rick (Marsha) Mann, Robin (Rita) Mann, Darin Mann, Phillip (Andrea) Sharp; sisters, Barb Hoffman, Rosalie (Paul) Chanley; sister-in-law, Charlotte Mann; 16 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.      

Larry will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on through the many lives he touched and the generations of family he leaves behind.

Visitation for Larry Mann will take place at Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and also one hour prior to the funeral services on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. EDT. 

Burial will take place at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Velpen.  

Pastor Joe Henson will officiate the service.
