Larry Lee Gogel, 62, St. Meinrad

Larry Lee Gogel, 62, of St. Meinrad, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.

Larry was born on October 23, 1963, in Dubois County to Zeno and Pauline (Waninger) Gogel. 

Larry had retired from the Carpenters Union. Larry was a member of the Indiana National Guard. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors and was a member of the Perry County Horsemen’s Club.

Larry is survived by his children, T.J. Henry, Brian Gogel, Harmonie Wargel, Katie Layou, Noah Gogel, Pauline Gogel and Grace Gogel; five sisters, Bernadette Linne, Marilyn Hagedorn, Joann Klem, Bernice Spurr, Linda Gogel; eight brothers, Francis, Don, Alfred, Gerald “Jerry”, Michael, Dan, Paul and Dean Gogel; and 14 grandchildren.

Larry was preceded in death by his mother and father.
