Larry Anthony Schwartz, 57

Larry Anthony Schwartz, 57, of Birdseye, passed away at 8:59 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 in a motorcycle accident at the railroad crossing on Highway 145 in Birdseye, Indiana.

He was born January 14, 1958 in Huntingburg, Indiana, to Gilbert and Eunis (Noe) Schwartz.

Larry was a former construction worker and skilled craftsman who enjoyed building various projects. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and hanging out with his longtime friends playing pool and cards. He very much loved his family and grandchildren. He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Bretzville.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by two sons, Ryan Schwartz of Huntingburg and Logan Schwartz of Bloomington; one daughter, Nicole Schwartz of Newburgh; his mother, Eunis Schwartz of Huntingburg; one brother, Ron Schwartz of Birdseye; and two granddaughters, Madilyn and Kennedy Schwartz.

Funeral services for Larry Schwartz will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at the Bretzville Cemetery in Bretzville, Indiana. Reverend Steve Oeth will officiate at the service.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday; and also from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., on Sunday prior to the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the funeral home to assist with burial expenses.
