Lane closures planned for U.S. 231 in Martin County

The Indiana Department of Transportation announced an upcoming lane closure for U.S. 231 in Martin County, just north of Haysville, beginning on or around Monday, September 22.

These lane closures will occur near the East Fork White River to allow for a bridge deck overlay project. Work is expected to last through late November, depending on the weather.

One lane of traffic will remain open during this project. Traffic will be controlled by a temporary traffic signal. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, exercise extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling through work zones.
