Lane closure planned for I-64 in Perry County to address sinkhole

The Indiana Department of Transportation announced an emergency lane closure for I-64 in Perry County to allow crews to repair a developing sinkhole under the roadway.
Beginning on or around Wednesday, June 17, crews will close the eastbound driving lane of I-64 near St. Croix. This lane closure will occur near the 75-mile marker.
Work is expected to last through the end of August, depending on the weather. One lane of traffic will remain open during this project. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
