Kimberly A. Cooper, 50, of Birdseye, Indiana, passed away at 9:10 p.m., Friday, June 27, 2014, at her home in Birdseye.

She was born November 28, 1963 in Huntingburg, Indiana, to Charles Michael and Betty J. (Werremeyer) Woodall. She married Jerry W. Cooper on November 16, 1986 at the Birdseye Baptist Church.

Kim worked at the United States Post Office in Birdseye where she served as Postmaster Relief for 19 years. She was an avid reader; enjoyed playing cards with friends; and more than anything, enjoyed spending time with her family. Kim was preceded in death by her father, Charles Michael Woodall.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry W. Cooper of Birdseye; her mother, Betty Koch of Huntingburg; two daughters, Holly N. Cooper and Jackie Harlan, both of Birdseye; two sons, James M. Cooper of St. Anthony, and Jeremy M. Cooper of Taswell; and 10 grandchildren.

Memorial services for Kimberly A. Cooper will be held at 7:30 p.m., EST, on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. Burial of her cremains will take place at the Birdseye Cemetery in Birdseye. The Reverend Albert Madden will officiate at the service.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-7:30 p.m., on Wednesday, the day of the service. Condolences may be shared with her family online at www.nassandson.com.
