Kimball announces new additions in seating and work space innovation

Kimball announced two new additions to the company’s line of office furniture solutions.

Wilder Guest

Wilder, designed by David Dahl, is a collection of lounge, guest and bench solutions that brings a sense of warmth and sophistication to waiting places while keeping the rigorous needs of healthcare facilities in mind. With soft rounded shapes and unique wood details, combined with the ability to mix upholstery on the seat and back, Wilder invites people to sit back and relax. Wilder guest chairs and settees provide a stylish solution for smaller footprints. Built with the same durability and features as the lounge pieces—wall-saver legs, cleanout design, and adjustable glides— Wilder is sure to make a statement in any space.

Kore Work Cart

In the KORE line of mobile office innovations, Kimball has added the Work Cart to the line that already includes Tables, Benches and Mobile Cart.  The all-encompassing product offering addresses a variety of needs and offers choices for everyone within the workspace to support the different ways people work and interact.

According to the company, creating a sense of community is important, but just as important is recognizing the needs of the individual.

Today’s generation of workers expect the workplace to be informal, flexible and healthy, with a balance of privacy and collaboration within the environment to support their changing needs. The KORE Work Cart creates the right environment for the right state of mind to fit into today’s evolving environments.

The KORE Work Cart, conceived by Swiss architect Daniel Korb, provides privacy plus efficiency while maximizing space. A rechargeable battery enables technology integration without being restrained to a single location, while pneumatic height adjust transfers the work area from sitting to standing simply, and without any power requirement. The quick customization and mobility allow for a fluid workspace that can rapidly expand, contract, reconfigure, or even relocate at a moment’s notice.
