Kim L. Mathies, age 49, Dubois, Indiana passed away at 8:07 p.m. Monday (January 16, 2011) in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.

He was born May 1, 1962 in Jasper to Marvin and Judy (Jones) Mathies.

Kim was self-employeed operating a excavating and construction company in Dubois.

Kim was a graduate of Dubois High School Class of 1980.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Mother and step-father, Marion and Judy Davis, Dubois, IN

One sister,  Mrs. Robert (Julie) Miller, Dubois, IN

One brother, Keith (Kathy) Mathies, Dubois, IN

One step sister, Mrs. Damon (Tammy) Purl, Petersburg, IN

Three nieces and two nephews.

Preceding him in death is his father Marvin Mathies. Grandparents, Leo and Alice Mathies and Miles and Helen Jones.

Funeral services for Kim Mathies will be held at 11:00 Thursday (January 19, 2012) at the Becher – Kluesner North Chapel with burial to follow in the Cuzco Cemetery at Cuzco, Indiana.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday (January 18, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.
