Kenneth T. Hoffman, 69

Kenneth T. Hoffman, 69, of Jasper, passed away at 10:20 a.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Kenny was born in Washington, Indiana on August 19, 1946 to Jerome and Antoinette (Muller) Hoffman. He married Charlotte Vollmer on September 30, 1967 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland, IN.
Kenny was president/owner of the family operated business – Jasper Container Company. He was a 17-year survivor of a heart transplant. He was an Indiana Army National Guard veteran and member of the Jasper American Legion Post #147.
He was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church, Jasper Outdoor Recreation, and a lifetime member of the Jasper Moose.
He played baseball for the Jasper Reds and softball for the B&G Men’s League.
He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed playing sheepshead, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Hoffman of Jasper; three daughters, Kimberly Hopf and husband Todd of Ireland, Julie Ahlbrand and husband Brad of Jasper and Shelley Uebelhor and husband Tony of Jasper; ten grandchildren; one sister, Annette Murry and husband Mike of Jasper; one brother, Terry Hoffman of Jasper; nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Funeral services for Kenneth Hoffman will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 5, 2015, at Precious Blood Catholic Church in Jasper, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper. The American Legion Post #147 will conduct military graveside rites.
Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 4, 2015, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. The Jasper Moose will conduct a memorial service at 6:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Precious Blood Catholic Church, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, or the American Heart Association.
