Kenneth (Kenny) Ray Murphy II, 76, French Lick

Kenneth (Kenny) Ray Murphy II, 76, of French Lick passed away at his home on May 11th, 2023.

He was born on October 19th, 1946, in Greenville, Ky., to Kenneth and Venoy (Kirtley) Murphy.

He was the construction superintendent for Fuhs Construction Company in Jasper for more than 30 years, retiring in December of 2020.

Kenny is survived by his children, Barry Murphy and Shelley Murphy; sister, Darla Land (Brad) of Evansville; nephew, Cody Land (Lan) of Jacksonville, Fla.; niece, Michelle Gilbert (Bradley) of Evansville; three great-nieces Tinley, Avery and Eliza.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents and infant brother, Jan Wayne, in 1953.

A funeral ceremony will be Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at noon at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home, with burial to follow on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 11 a.m. (CST) at Island Community Cemetery in Island, Kentucky.

Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, May 17, 2023, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
