Keith Traylor, 68, Velpen

Keith Traylor, 68, of Velpen, passed away at his home on October 8, 2026, surrounded by his family.

He was born in Denver, Colorado, on January 19, 1958, to Morris Dean and Jacqueline (Brown) Traylor.

Keith worked as a Union Iron Worker for Midwest Steel for many years. He was a member of the Eagles in Winslow and the American Legion in Jasper. He enjoyed gardening, horseback riding, camping, and tinkering in the garage.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Traylor; his sons, Cody (Alex) Traylor and Adam (Danielle) Traylor; his brother, Kevin Traylor; sister, Vicki (Dean) Englert; stepdaughters, Aleshia Kuebler and Mariah (Ethan) Knust; stepson, Kris (Kelsey) Kuebler; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation for Keith will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, Indiana, from 10:00 a.m. EST to 1:00 p.m. EST. The service will begin at 1:00 PM EST on October 13, 2026, after the visitation.

Burial will take place after the service at Union-Traylor (Burr Oak) Cemetery in Otwell.
