Kay A. McCraney, 64

Kay A. McCraney, age 64, of Jasper, Indiana passed away at 8:15 p.m. on Sunday, October 4, 2015, at Cathedral Health Care Center in Jasper.
Kay was born in Huntingburg on February 2, 1951 to Russell and Mary Lou (Peckinpaugh) McCraney.
Kay was a Navy veteran.
She retired as a secretary and worked for the State of Colorado for many years.
She was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Jasper.
She loved frogs and frog-collecting. She also enjoyed spending time with her dog, Jack Daniel.
She is survived by one daughter, Shanna Query of Petersburg; one son, Shane Vonderheide of Nampa, Idaho; six grandchildren, one step-granddaughter; companion and caregiver,
Tom Fluckey of Jasper; three sisters, Angela Morgan and her husband Kenny of Huntingburg, Pia Wyland and her husband Steve of Winslow and Jalain Sutt and her husband Everett of Petersburg; three brothers, Paul McCraney and his wife Denise of Long Island, N.Y., Mark McCraney and his wife Sharon of Celestine and James McCraney and his wife Carolyn of Long Island, N.Y.; many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death is one brother, Russell Terry McCraney.
There will be no services at this time.
Becher-Kluesner Funeral Home in Jasper is in charge of arrangements.
