Kathy Neighbors, 74, Santa Claus

Kathy Neighbors, 74, of Santa Claus, died February 1 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.

She was born Aug. 12, 1942 in Easton, Maine to Frank and Bessie (Crawford) Frasier.

She was a member of Beta Beta Sorority and retired after 21 years as a security guard for Christmas Lake Village.

She is survived by her husband Howard Neighbors; children, Norman Neighbors of Jasper, Roseann Fredrick of Pompano Beach, Fla., Michael Neighbors of Virginia Beach, Va., Debra Neighbors of Santa Claus, Howard B. Neighbors of Charlotte, N.C. and Susan Roach of Jasper; two sisters, Irma Corns of Colorado Springs, Colo. and Laura Lobbis of Fargo, Fla.; 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Vic and Wally Neighbors; and a brother, Robert Frasier.

The family would like to extend the heartfelt appreciation to the doctors and staff at Deaconess Gateway Hospital as well as Dr. Jeff Selby and staff.

Graveside services are planned for 12:00 p.m. CST Saturday, February 11, 2017, at Garden of Memory Cemetery in Gentryville.
