Kathleen V. Troesch, 84, Ferdinand

Kathleen V. Troesch, 84, Ferdinand, passed away Friday, July 22, 2016, at Scenic Hills Care Center in Ferdinand.

She was born in Schnellville on Oct. 23, 1931, to John and Mary (Brames) Brosmer. She married Othmar H. Troesch on April 11, 1970, in Sacred Heart Of Jesus Catholic Church in Schnellville.

She is survived by her husband, Othmar H. Troesch; a daughter, Rachel (Chris) Fortune of Boonville; a son, Robert (Tracy) Troesch of Ferdinand; a brother, Clarence (Ruth) Brosmer of Port Charlotte, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Leo Brosmer, and three sisters, Cecelia Stetter, Marie Egler and an infant twin, Theresa Brosmer.

Mrs. Troesch was a co-owner of OT Trucking Company and worked at the OT Junction service station. She was a member of St. Meinrad Parish. She enjoyed gardening, music shows, family and friends.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. CDT Monday in St. Meinrad Catholic Church in St. Meinrad. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 1 to 7 p.m. CDT Sunday at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand and after 9:a.m. CDT Monday at the church.
