Kathleen “Kathy” Witte, 73, Ireland

Kathleen “Kathy” Witte, 73, of Ireland, passed away at 6:45 a.m. Sunday, July 8, 2018, at her home.

She was born in Jasper on July 9, 1944, to Oscar and Genevieve (Schuler) Temple. She married Leroy Witte at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland on July 2, 1966. He preceded her in death on September 22, 2015.

Kathy retired from Jasper Rubber products where she worked for 51 years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland.

She is survived by two sons, Mark (Keri) Witte of Celestine and Keith (Lisa) Witte of Ireland; four grandchildren; Cole and Max Witte, and Hannah and Claire Witte; two brothers, Myron temple (Donna) of Ireland and Duane Temple (Donna) of Ireland.

Preceding her in death besides her husband Leroy Witte are one son Kurt Witte and two sisters Mary Louise Temple who died in infancy and Shirley Hoffman.

Mass of Christian Burial for Kathy Witte will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Ireland.

Visitation will be held from 2-8 Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church or to the Dubois County Humane Society.
