Kathleen J. “Kathy” Bridge, 60

Kathleen J. “Kathy” Bridge, 60, of Holland, passed away at 2:24 p.m. Monday, October 5, 2015 at her home.

She was born May 6, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan, to James Martin Fettes, Sr. and Irene (Getter) Fettes. She married William Lee Bridge on November 6, 1973 in Pontiac, Michigan.

Kathy was employed as a certified nursing assistant at the Northwood Good Samaritan Center in Jasper. She formerly worked at the Sisters of St. Benedict Hildegard Health Center in Ferdinand, the Holland Elementary School as a cook, at Blesch Sales & Service in Holland as a cashier, and the Holland Daycare Center.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Joseph Fettes; and one sister, Elizabeth Ann Fettes.

She is survived by her husband, William Lee Bridge of Holland; one daughter, Holly Irene Woolsey of Holland; one brother and sister-in-law, James Martin (Bonnie) Fettes, Jr. of Birdseye; one sister and brother-in-law, Margaret (Stanley) Furton of Holland; one grandson, Noah Woolsey at home; and by nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Kathy Bridge will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2015, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. Reverend Fr. Ryan Hilderbrand will officiate.  Cremation will take place after the visitation and funeral services.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, the day of the funeral. Memorial contributions can be made to the Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center in Jasper.
