Kathleen C. Day, 68, Jasper

Kathleen C. Day, 68, of Jasper, passed away at 3:28 pm on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.  

Kathleen was born in Huntingburg on February 23, 1954, to Arnold and Genevive (Kempf) Otto. She married Jay R. Day on May 29, 1971, in St. Joseph Catholic Church. 

She worked as a manager for the Shoe Show in Jasper for many years.   

Kathleen was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper and was a previous member of their Stephen Ministry.  

She enjoyed arts and crafts and spending time with family and friends.  

She is survived by her husband, Jay R. Day of Jasper; two sons, Kevin Day (Trudy) of Newburgh and Mike Day of Jasper; five grandchildren, Cameren, Kayton, and Karagan Day, and Kyana and Easton Day; two brothers, Jerry Otto (Barbara) of Jasper and Randy Otto (Jan) of Celestine.  

Preceding her in death where her parents were one grandchild, Keaton Day.  

A funeral service for Kathleen C. Day will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 15, 2022, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.  Chaplin Doug Faulkner will officiate.

A visitation will be held from 10 am until the 1 pm service time at Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.
