Kathern Louise Wilson, 86, of Petersburg, passed away on August 23, 2023, in Jasper.

She was born November 23, 1936, to Russell Oral and Naomi (Rock) Williams in Glezen, Ind.

She was a proud and faithful member of the Petersburg First Church of God.

Kathern is survived by her daughters, Terri (Don) Thrasher of Jackson, Tenn. and Lisa Gail Wilson of Petersburg; grandchildren, Sarah (Jonathan) Baker and Stephen Thrasher; and sister, Georgia Anna Barrett.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Linden Gayle Wilson; her parents; and her siblings, Thelma Jewel Barrett, Vivian Lucille Barrett, James Oral Williams, Lillian Imogene Beck, William “Ike” Lee Williams, Donald Russell Williams, and Bobby Junior Williams.

Services for Kathern will take place at 1 p.m. EST on Tuesday, August 29, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, with visitation from 10 a.m. until service time. Pastor Michael Roach will be officiating, and burial will follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg.
