Katherine Margaret Critchfield, 88
Katherine Margaret Critchfield, age 88, of Peru, Indiana, passed away at 9:05 a.m., Friday, December 23, 2011 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Peru, Indiana.
She was born August 12, 1923 in Holyoke, Massachusetts to Thomas James and Margaret Grace (Knapp) McCarthy. She was a retired inspector at a ceramics factory. Katherine was a member of: Anderson Valley Christian Church, Peru V.F.W. Auxiliary, and Peru Moose Lodge. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Howard Critchfield, who died in 1983; one son, Scott Howard Critchfield; and three brothers- Joseph, Raymond and John McCarthy.
She is survived by:

and one great granddaughter,
- Abigail Hawkins – at home.
Funeral services for Katherine Critchfield will be held at 1:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, on Friday, December 30, 2011 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Kellems Cemetery near Birdseye. The Rev. Albert Madden will officiate the services.
