Karla L. Wood, 34, Jasper

Karla L. Wood, 34, of Jasper, passed away at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2018, at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

She was born in Huntingburg on January 24, 1984, to Harold and Elanie (Beyke) Betz. She married Robert Wood on September 14, 2006, in Jasper.

Karla was a graduate of Northeast Dubois High School Class of 2002. She had worked for Masterbrand Cabinets in Ferdinand. Karla was a member of St. Isadore Parish, St. Celestine Church. She enjoyed her children, reading, playing board games and going on walks with her children.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Wood; two daughters, Serenity J. Wood and Tessa E. Wood and one son, Lance J. Wood; one stepson, Austin Wood; parents, Harold & Elaine Betz of Celestine; mother and father-in-law, Barbara and Bob Wood of Jasper; four sisters, Michelle (Tim) King of Birdseye, Diana Betz of Celestine, Lori O’Brian (Glen) of Crystal and Melissa (Cody) Lynch of Dubois; two brothers, Nick Betz of Schnellville and Joe Betz of Evansville; one brother in law, Justin Wood of Jasper.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2018, in St. Isidore Parish, St. Celestine Parish with burial to follow at a later date.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper. Rosary will be held at1:45 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral Home.
