Karen Graan (Phillips), 78, Chicago

Karen Graan (Phillips), age 78, of Chicago and Jasper, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025.

Karen was born on Oct. 26, 1946, in Chicago, Ill., to John Clement and Mildred Emily (Eberle) Phillips.

Karen is remembered for her kindness, generosity and compassion. She did charity work and always gave whatever help she could to others in need. No matter what her personal hardship, she always had a smile on her face, and most of all, she was always there for you, whether you needed her or not.
