Karen Elaine Bowling, 66

Karen Elaine Bowling, 66, passed away at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, November 15, 2015, at her residence in Huntingburg.

She was born February 22, 1949 in Vincennes, Indiana, to Chester and Ethel (Durham) Marsh. She married Ronald Bowling on February 23, 1965 in Laurel, Indiana.

Karen retired in February of 2014 from National Office Furniture in Santa Claus after working there 30+ years. She was a member of the Cup Creek General Baptist Church near Velpen. She enjoyed playing cards and board games; was an avid NASCAR fan; enjoyed going for walks; and loved spending time with her family.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Charles Marsh; and one sister, Melody Marsh.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Bowling of Huntingburg, Ind.; two daughters, Rhonda Hill of Huntingburg and Kimberly Masterson of Huntingburg; one son, Richard Bowling of Camden, Ind.; two brothers, Ronald Marsh of Princeton and Mark Marsh of Hymera, Ind.; one sister, Patricia Rogers of Terre Haute, Ind.; 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Karen Bowling will be held at 2:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, November 19, 2015, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg.  The Reverend Ronald Marsh will officiate at the service.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, the day of the funeral.
