Juvenile arrest solves several Huntingburg cases
Huntingburg — The Huntingburg Police Department reported that the arrest of a juvenile Wednesday night has cleared several burglary cases the department has been working on.
Police were notified of the break-in of a vehicle at 318 North Geiger Street at 8:02 p.m. When they arrived, the owner of the vehicle told police he had found a juvenile breaking into the vehicle but the juvenile was able to get away.
Officers identified the suspect and made an arrest later that night.
According to authorities, after the arrest, the juvenile confessed to several thefts and burglaries in the area.
The juvenile was charged with burglary, theft, and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle.
Police are withholding all identification information due to the age of the juvenile.
