Justin Charles Leighty, 30

Justin Charles Leighty, 30, passed away at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at his residence.

Justin was born December 10, 1983, in Washington. He was the son of Glen D. and Debra “Debbie” (Grow) Leighty.

A 2002 graduate of Washington High School, he spent his free time listening to music while enjoying the outdoors. One of his favorite pastimes was fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Kelsey Blackgrove Leighty; parents, Glen and Debbie Leighty; one brother, Kory (Amanda Spivey) Leighty; two sons, Diego and Carter Leighty; his grandmother, Patricia Kane; and several aunts and uncles.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Olive and Ray Reno, Glen Leighty Sr., and Donald Grow.

The funeral will be at 6 p.m. Sunday at Gill Funeral Home, with Steve Dayton officiating.

Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to support future education needs for Diego and Carter Leighty. Contributions may be made at Old National Bank in Washington.
