The Jasper Strassenfest Miss, Junior Miss and Little Miss/Misters Pageants are this Saturday at the Jasper Middle School. The Little Miss and Little Mister Pageant will start at 3 p.m. The Junior Miss and Miss Pageant will start at 7 p.m.
Tickets are on sale for $5 at the Jasper Chamber of Commerce and are needed for each event. Tickets may be available at the door of the Middle School the day of the event.

Junior Miss Strassenfest Candidates
Contestant Number 1 is Hilary Bauer. She is the daughter of Ken Bauer. She will be an 8th grader at Jasper Middle School. Her activities include Destination Imagination, Art Club, school musicals and serving at Mass. Her hobbies and interests include listening to music, skating and hanging out with her friends.
Contestant Number 17 is Gillian Blessinger. She is the daughter of Jennifer and Tony Blessinger. She will be a 7th grader at Holy Family School. Her activities include Math Bowl, Spell Bowl, Destination Imagination, 4-H, basketball and cantering at school masses. Her hobbies and interests include watching Cardinals baseball, IU basketball, singing and going shopping with her friends.
Contestant Number 7 is ShyAnne Brewer. She is the daughter of DeAnna and Patrick Brewer. She will be an 8th grader at Jasper Middle School. Her activities include the dance team, choir, Circle the State with Song and 4-H. Her hobbies and interests include scrapbooking, listening to music, riding four-wheelers, dancing and cooking.
Contestant Number 19 is Morgan Decker. She is the daughter of Danna and Michael Decker. She will be a 7th grader at Jasper Middle School. Her activities include student council, Spell Bowl, volleyball, Band, Wyldlife, swimming and dance. Her hobbies and interests include music, running, reading, boating on Patoka Lake with family and friends and playing Scrabble with her dad.
Contestant Number 14 is Alexandra Garanicova. She is the daughter of Jana and Julio Garanicova. She will be a 7th grader at Jasper Middle School. Her activities include dance, soccer and musicals. Her hobbies and interests include reading, playing the clarinet, studying and swimming.
Contestant Number 8 is Emma Hopf. She is the daughter of Amy and Chris Hopf. She will be an 8th grader at Jasper Middle School. Her activities include swim team, Wyldlife, fastpitch softball, 4-H and serving at Mass. Her hobbies and interests include camping, babysitting, volunteering at school and spending time with family and friends.
Contestant Number 3 is Alexa Hopf. She is the daughter of Kristina and Stan Hopf. She will be a 7th grader at Jasper Middle School. Her activities include basketball, volleyball, dance and bible study. Her hobbies and interests include camping, swimming, puzzles and hanging with her best friends.
Contestant Number 15 is Nicole Kress. She is the daughter of Jill and Nick Kress. She will be an 8th grader at Jasper Middle School. Her activities include Destination Imagination, softball, Student Council and school musicals. Her hobbies and interests include collecting snow globes, babysitting, reading, speed cup stacking and spending time with friends and family.
Contestant Number 9 is Priscilla Olson. She is the daughter of Lauri and Richard Olson. She will be an 8th grader at Jasper Middle School. Her activities include Destination Imagination, Student Council, Art Club, dance, cheerleading and track. Her hobbies and interests include drawing, voice and piano lessons and watching movies with family and friends.
Contestant Number 13 is Melanie Patterson. She is the daughter of Ann and Darren Patterson. She will be a 7th grader at Holy Family School. Her activities include Destination Imagination, Math Bowl, Academic Bowl, 4-H, Circle the State with Song and serving at Mass. Her hobbies and interests include gymnastics, softball, sewing, reading, scrapbooking and writing.
Contestant Number 12 is Tia Reutepohler. She is the daughter of Sharon and Curt Reutepohler. She will be a 7th grader at Jasper Middle School. Her activities include tennis, cheerleading, piano, Circle the State in Song, softball, bowling, swimming and golf. Her hobbies and interests include reading and raising pets.
Contestant Number 10 is Hannah Rydberg. She is the daughter of Janet and Bryan Rydberg. She will be an 8th grader at Jasper Middle School. Her activities include band, school musicals, 4-H and Destination Imagination. Her hobbies and interests include drawing, reading books and roller skating
Contestant Number 18 is Sydney Traylor. She is the daughter of Angie and Kurt Traylor. She will be an 8th grader at Jasper Middle School. Her activities include R.O.O.S., cross country, track, cheerleading, choir and gymnastics. Her hobbies and interests include running, decorating cupcakes, crafts and scrapbooking.
Contestant Number 5 is Breanna Truesdale. She is the daughter of Abby and John Truesdale. She will be a 7th grader at Jasper Middle School. Her activities include swimming, 4-H, softball, volleyball and bible study. Her hobbies and interests include riding her four-wheeler, hunting with her dad, going to the movies and spending time with friends.
Contestant Number 4 is Anna Wagner. She is the daughter of Pam and Rennie Wagner. She will be a 7th grader at Jasper Middle School. Her activities include Girl Scouts, 4-H, Destination Imagination, dance, musicals and Student Council. Her hobbies and interests include playing piano and saxophone, crafting, working with animals and spending time with family and friends.
Contestant Number 20 is Madison Weidenbenner. She is the daughter of Angie and Steve Weidenbenner. She will be an 8th grader at Jasper Middle School. Her activities include Student Council, volleyball and bible study. Her hobbies and interests include going to concerts, being outdoors, especially the beach, and spending time with her dad and grandma at the family farm.
Contestant Number 11 is Hannah Welp. She is the daughter of Lynn and John Welp. She will be a 7th grader at Holy Family School. Her activities include volleyball, basketball, Math Bowl, spelling bee, Destination Imagination, server at Mass, dance and musicals. Her hobbies and interests include creative problem solving, learning different languages like German and Spanish, snow-skiing and camping.
Contestant Number 2 is Hanna Werner. She is the daughter of Hillory and Jeremy Werner. She will be an 8th grader at Jasper Middle School. Her activities include Destination Imagination, dance, cheerleading and acting. Her favorite hobby is baking cupcakes, cookies, cakes and brownies for her family.
Contestant Number 16 is Ashley Whitsitt. She is the daughter of Carla and Jason Whitsitt. She will be a 7th grader at Jasper Middle School. Her activities include Art Club, school musical, choir, dance team, Destination Imagination, band, softball and 4-H. Her hobbies and interests include arts and crafts, reading, poetry and spending time with family and friends.
Contestant Number 6 is Kathryn Wigand. She is the daughter of Kelly and Ken Wigand. She will be an 8th grader at Jasper Middle School. Her activities include basketball, soccer, Wyldlife and fast-pitch softball. Her hobbies and interests include babysitting, swimming and hanging out with her friends.
