Julie A. Meyer, age 67, of Huntingburg, Indiana, passed away Tuesday evening, May 22, 2012 at her residence.

She was born December 30, 1944 in Haubstadt, Indiana to Ralph and Ann Woods. Julie worked in advertising sales for several local newspapers. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Huntingburg, a supporter of the Southridge High School Marching Band, and enjoyed fishing and camping. She was preceded in death by: her parents.

She is survived by:

Four sons and three daughter-in-laws,

  • Greg (spouse: Ruth) Meyer – Huntingburg, IN
  • Dale (fiancé: Brandy) Meyer – Stendal, IN
  • David Meyer – San Diego, California
  • Mike (spouse: Kristin) Meyer – Port Saint Lucie, FL

by (5) grandchildren and (2) great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Julie A. Meyer will be held at 2:00 p.m., E.D.T., on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg. Pastor Bob Borden will officiate the services.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., Saturday, the day of the funeral; and also at the First Baptist Church from 1:30-2:00 p.m., Saturday.
