Julia (Judy) Haase, 73, Jasper

Julia (Judy) Haase, 73, Jasper, passed away at 9:05 a.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2016, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

Judy was born on January 16, 1943, in Jasper, Indiana to Claude and Mary (Kunkler) Gramelspacher. She married Pete Haase on September 5, 1964, in St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Judy worked in the Jasper High School Cafeteria for many years. She was a member of St. Joseph  Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, going to auctions and collecting, and was an avid animal lover.

She is survived by her husband, Pete Haase of Jasper; two daughters, Kristi Schnarr and husband Rick of Louisville and Vicki Sullivan and husband Tony of Troy, Ohio; one son, John Haase and wife Jeanette of Colorado Springs, Colo. (currently stationed in Germany); four grandchildren, Courtney and McKenzie Schnarr, Bryce and Brittney Sullivan; two sisters, Betty Burke of Jasper and Donna Loveall and husband Jerry of Newburgh, Ind.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Private funeral services for Judy Haase were held at Becher-Kluesner Funeral Home in Jasper.
