Julia A. Mohr, 75

Julia A. Mohr, 75, of Ferdinand, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at her home.
Julia was born May 12, 1939 in Huntingburg to Alfred (Pete) And Lucille (Dorsam) Schwartz. She married William (Bill) Mohr on June 8, 1957 in St. Ferdinand Church. Bill died on January 19, 2014.
Julia was retired from Mobel Inc. and had previously worked at Ferdinand Furniture and Fleigs Café. She was a member of St. Ferdinand Parish; Ferdinand American Legion Auxiliary; Fraternal order of Eagles Huntingburg and St. Anthony Conservation Club. Julia enjoyed playing cards, cooking, spending time with family and embroidery of quilt blocks. Her favorite flowers were red geraniums and roses.
Julia is survived by four daughters, Darlene Pickens and husband Mark of Medina Texas, Phyllis Seifers and husband Bruce of Newton Ill., Cindy Greulich and husband Randy of Ferdinand, Sue Mohr of Ferdinand; one son, Bill Mohr Jr. of Ferdinand; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; four sisters, Shirley Brinkman and husband Bernie, Doris Dittmer and husband Bill, all of Huntingburg, Marilyn Seger and husband Jim of Mariah Hill, Linda Nordhoff and husband Lenny of Holland; one brother, Dave Schwartz and wife Peggy of Huntingburg.
Julia was preceded in death by both parents and her husband Bill.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 7:00 to 9:30 a.m. at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand. Funeral services will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Ferdinand Church with burial to follow in St. John’s Cemetery in Bretzville.
