Judy Vaughn, 59, Oakland City

Judy Vaughn, 59, of Oakland City, passed away at 8:59 a.m., on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at her residence.

She was born July 22, 1960, in Biloxi, Mississippi, to William “Bill” and Norma Jean (Thompson) Goodpaster. In 1978, she married Marvin R. Vaughn in Odon, Indiana.

Judy worked as a bookkeeper and office manager. 

She was preceded in death by her father.

Judy is survived by her husband, Marvin R. Vaughn of Oakland City, Ind.; one daughter, Stacey Vaughn of Evansville, Ind.; her mother, Norma Jean Goodpaster of Stendal, Ind.; one brother, Mike (Teresa) Goodpaster of Stendal, Ind.; and one sister, Teri (Leo) Chapman-Avis of Tacoma, Washington.

Graveside services for Judy Vaughn will be held at 11:30 a.m. EST on Saturday, February 1, 2020, at the Zoar Cemetery in Zoar, Indiana. Rev. Debbie Payne will officiate at the graveside service.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
