Judith A. Pund, 59, Ferdinand

Judith A. Pund, 59, Ferdinand, died Sunday, April 17, 2016, at her home.

She was born in Huntingburg on April 11, 1957, to Wilfred and Bernice (Laake) Weyer.

Mrs. Pund was the administrator at Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper for 10 years and was previously the director of nursing for 20 years. She served on several boards of directors, including the State of Indiana Council on Aging, Jasper Chamber Of Commerce, board at St. Benedict Monastery and The National Organization Board of Good Samaritan. She was a member of St. Ferdinand Parish.

Surviving are her husband, Eric Pund; three sons, Brett (Allison) Pund of Jasper and Matt (Emily) Pund and Andy Pund, both of Ferdinand; a daughter, Laura Pund of Ferdinand; her mother, Bernice Pund of Ferdinand; a sister, Ruth (Howard) Lasher of Haubstadt; and three brothers, Kurt (Brenda) Weyer, Chris (Donna) Weyer and Glenn (Marcy) Weyer, all of Ferdinand.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Monastery of Immaculate Conception Chapel in Ferdinand. Burial will be in St. Ferdinand Church Cemetery in Ferdinand at a later date.

There will be no visitation.

Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand is in charge of arrangements.
